Day 18

Yipes!! Henry is already 18 days old! That's craziness.

Things are going amazingly well -- at his well baby appt on Monday he was back up to 9lbs 9 oz (he dropped to 9lbs even by his 1 week appt). He's learning how to be more fussy each day - which isn't too big of a deal really. His fussy is nothing compared to other fussy's I've encountered. He's eating good -- sleeping 3-4 hours at night. So far - we've been extremely lucky.

I had my own dr appt yesterday -- and was surprised to hear that I can try to get pregnant again in only 6 months!! I thought that it was a year to two years after a c-section. Nick and I are now in the big debate as to how to try to 'plan' for our next child - since it took us so long to get this one, if we don't prevent I have a feeling we'll get preggo right away... or it could take a year or more again.

We ultimately decided to wait and see what our job situations look like for next year before making any decisions... who knows with our schools these days!

We had a friend take some Christmas photos for us ... they turned out much more beautiful than I expected!!
