24 weeks 2 days 1 good appointment

Well we had our monthly appointment today, and everything looks good. She thinks that Henry's head down now - but I still only feel his punches and kicks way low, so I don't know if I agree with her - or he's in a weird sideways position. My belly measured about 25 weeks now - so we're no longer much bigger than we should be.

One more month, and I'll get the lovely glucose test, and move on to appts every 2 weeks - that will get tricky with going back to work!

We have our monthly appointment on Thursday - but other than that, nothing new or exciting - just making the most of the 21 days left of our summer vacation!!

23 weeks and 17 to go!

How far along? 23 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +16 - 1 lb over what they say I should be - but it's not my fault I swear!
Maternity clothes? Maternity pants, plus the belly band for extra support b/c he's so low and heavy
Stretch marks? Not yet - but I'm sure they're coming soon!
Sleep: Finally getting better w/ the new matteress topper and preggo wedge
Best moment this week: It's been a lazy week -- I guess finishing my registry?
Movement: Yup - he was kicking my sides for a while, but now his feet are back down low
Food cravings: Still cheeseburgers!
Gender: He's a big baby boy!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? The top half is now out - bottom part still in - and it kinda moves throughout the day, super weird
What I miss: Being able to wear flip flops comfortably all day
What I am looking forward to: The next four months going quickly!

Realization of the week: I had to take off my wedding ring, as per risk of needing it cut off in a week or two I'm sure -- but I got a great bling bling ring from Kohl's! :)

BOY!!

Henry Mercer VandenBerg (named after Nick's father, Arthur Henry VandenBerg ... Mercer is Nick's favorite boy name) is happy and healthy in there... according to the ultrasound tech he's measuring 2 weeks ahead, and according to my belly measurements he's measuring 3 weeks ahead!! If I hadn't already had 3 early ultrasounds, they would have moved my due date up, but since those were specific to the date - we just know he's a giant! He's also already 1lb 1 oz (the baby book says he should be only 9oz right now). My OB says I will probably have more ultrasounds as baby gets even bigger to keep track of that!

18 weeks 4 days - and Thumping! :)

Only two weeks to go until we find out if we're team blue or pink, or stay on team green if baby doesn't cooperate!!

The excitement this week has been that I now feel the "thumping" of baby pretty often - atleast a couple times a day.

And last night once I laid down to watch a movie I felt some movement so I put my hands on my lower tummy and sure enough - I felt a thump!! I can't wait for Nick to be able to feel it too!

How far along? 18 weeks and 4 days
Total weight gain/loss: I don't want to answer that question today...
Maternity clothes? Yup - still loving them - but can still wear regular shirts - jeans only w/ belly band
Stretch marks? Not yet
Sleep: Rough times -- my legs keep falling asleep and aching!
Best moment this week: Feeling the thump against my hand!
Movement: Getting more frequent by the day!
Food cravings: This week ... cheeseburgers :)
